Gustavo Berocan Veiga (Goiania, Brazil 1977) is an illustrator based in Palma de Mallorca (Spain). He studied communication and journalism at Universidade de Brasília (1996-2000), comics at Escola Joso (Barcelona 2003-2007) and illustration at Escola Massana d’Arts i Oficis (Barcelona, 2007-2010). He worked for Iberia Universal, El Vigia and Gol newspapers as a graphic designer as well as a freelancer, and published his work as an illustrator in Diario Público, Iberia Universal, Gol, Panenka, Uno Magazine, BCN Més and had clients like Monstro Discos. He also studied traditional printing systems as letterpress (San Francisco Center for the Book, SF) and screen printing (Cac Ses Voltes, Palma), and currently prints his own work and is always interested in self-edition and in different funny ways to combine images, expression and information.
